Can't find Bosch Supers localy.

Found the part number for Bosch Super plugs (F8DC4) strait from the Bosch website, but the two local parts houses they listed on the site for my area say they dont have them and can't even get them (they both say "just buy platinums" ) Does anyone know of a website where I can find these? And for that matter does my 1995 M104 six REALLY need these plugs? If not, what other plugs will work just as fine.

Thanks
Triggerman

Thanks about the NGK suggestion. No, I am about 1.5 hours from the nearest MB stealership, out in the sticks.

Thanks

Just called Autozone and they dont have and cannot order the NGKs either! The only single electrode, copper plugs they have is Champion, and they do NOT come recommended on these boards. Help!

Thanks

OK guys, DEEP into my google search I finally found Autohaus America where you can order Bosch Super F8DC4 plugs easily. We will see if they really exist or not just kidding.

well i used champion but with a lower heat range and that's on a m103 and ran fine..Where do you live? it seems like they have no clue about spark plugs because the autozone and kragen over here have them in stock....one thing i do have is how they think platinum spark plugs are the best thing that ever happend to cars even more than the wheel....To make them shut up i tell them what kind of ignition system does my car have that makes them so good for it.....they can't answer that...

When I needed plugs for my E420 local guys only had Bosch plat. I was told by good sources DO NOT USE PLATIUMS!! What he had were some Delco in the right app and heat range ! So I fig what the heck tryum out and see and if they did not cut the mustard I would get the Bosch. They have not missed a beat! The price was right ! Givem a try won't kill your motor and ya never know they may work as well for you as they did me! Note: this is not a plug for Delco ? HMMMM that don't sound right??

i mean even the cheap $1.25 spark plugs are cheap enough to try out because if they make your car run like shhh then it was only about an 8 dollar loss compare to $40 for platinums. ...I learn that a long time ago on my first benz when i got 5.99 spark plugs and Mobil 1 oil ....will never do that again!

I find it hard to believe that you're having that much trouble finding copper spark plugs for your MB. You can always mail order them from mercedesshop.com or even performanceparts4benz.
