hey guys, whats goin on? I am looking to get a new vehicle in the future and I want to get a mercedes. I currently have a 1990 BMW 325i which has served me well but I want something bigger and more comfortable. I really like the W124 but I am totally new to Mercedes-Benz. I really would like a 500E or a 420E. How good are the V8s? any common issues I should look for? also what typically goes wrong with these cars? do they suffer from the wiring harnesses disentigrating? I know the 500E was the top of the line car and developed with Porsche, but to me its a car I have always liked. Anyone have one for sale?

also what is a "special edition" E420 that i have been seeing on autotrader and whatnot.

there are currently two 500E's on ebay for sale...you may want to check those out
