We are the 2nd owners of a 87 300E with about 180K on the clock. It will be 6 years in June since we purchased it.
Over the last few weeks I have been diagnosing various fuel system issues and just about have them nailed down now.
Anyway, I did a cylinder compression test and leak down test today. It was great. 162, 162, 165, and three 161
I followed that up with a leak down test and got next to the bottom of the scale on the low leakage side. Almost off the chart on low
Since new, it has had a steady diet of MAHLE or OEM filters and Castrol GTX 20/50.
This is better than my Cummins when it had 180,000 on it!
