Arrow - Interesting Ebay & Ebay.de Items -

So, I decided to use the ideas from what members on 190revolution.net are doing. Basically whatever people would find on ebay related to their cars, they would share it with the board to see as well. I would check out their forum here and there and it helped out occasionally. So why not start it here!

Here's what I found today while browsing Ebay.de...

Black AMG AERO I Hammer Wheels

http://cgi.ebay.de/Satz-original-17-...QQcmdZViewItem

I would soooo get these if I had the money - They have center caps too!

AMG W124 Limousine side skirts?

http://cgi.ebay.de/AMG-Seitenschwell...QQcmdZViewItem

Can anyone tell me what these are specifically?

Mercedes AMG Aero I Monoblocks 16x7.5

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-16x...56222764QQrdZ1

Anyways, That's it for now - I hope you fellow members contribute because you never know how much you could help someone else out.

"Limousine" in this context simply means 4-dr sedan and not coupe or wagon.

Wagon and sedan may have same specs as regards these parts, however.

$600 dollars for four, not each.

Here are Mercedes' technical instructions for these wheels

$600 for those hammer's aren't bad all. Considering the amount I paid for mine and to have them refinished. and I STILL don't have center caps.

Kent, Do you know if that auction for the side skirts come in two or is there only one side? I can't really tell from the pictures and plus I can't read german. haha

Okay, I'm going to be watching this item - If the price is right before it's over I'm going to bid on them. If not - I still have Wald skirts to pick up.

I'd buy the hammers, and got a friend living in stuttgart right now, who could ship them over to me for next to nothing too.

But Got bigger things to deal with rather than buying another set of rims.

Looks like the AMG side skirts is a no go - The seller isn't willing to ship outside of Europe. Even at my expense!!!

I'd jump on those wheels if they weren't going for $900+.

+2 on how good the classic AMG logo looks.

Hey,
I was just wondering... You know our cars' door mirrors are different sized (bigger one on the driver's side and a toast-sized one on the passenger's)... I was just thinking if I get a driver's side mirror from a RHD vehicle, would it be a direct swap away from the slice of toast?

Also, any recommendations as to how I can modify the mirrors? I don't want no M3 in-your-face stuff.. Just something subtle, something like retrofitting W210 mirrors.. Any ideas?

I have wanted to do the same thing! It should be a direct bolt-on.

Most of the aftermarket mirrors i've seen would look fugly on a w124. i think the best bet is to get the rhd mirror. i've seen it done (pics on the internet)

Enzo, my Benzo
Mirrors:

Don't forget that in a factory setup, one mirror is normal glass, while the passenger side mirror is convex ("objects in mirror are closer than they appear") and if you take 2 driver' side mirrors you will have 2 mirrors with regular glass and a major blind spot

Just an FYI

I brought a RHD driver's mirror back from London last time I was there. It will be painted & installed on my car while @ Motorwerks having the E500 body & twin turbo conversions done, so I'll let you know.

Satish mentioned that you just need to adjust the mirror angle with a different screw (?)... He did the same thing with his 560sec with the V12 conversion & it works/looks perfect.

BTW - the mirror only cost $100 in London, but if you order one make sure that you don't mention it's for a LHD car as it's againt the law for them to sell it to you.

That's pretty cool!

What if my car has dual electric mirrors though? Would everything still bolt on fine?

Cheers (I'm from London, so I'm trying to get a LHD driver's mirror )
