looks good - I like how the drop looks. nice and low and how I like it!
It's probably because you're running 18's - which makes your drop so much nicer to me in my opinion. I'm actually looking into getting 18's to be honest.
So how does the car ride now?
I think it'll look better if you paint the lower panels to match the body color instead.

Thanx!, I can't speak on ride quality yet as I can get the car running, money is tight and I have 4 other vehicles to get around in so........getting it to a diagnostics shop haven't fit my schedule or wallet yet. I wish I'd of know how expensive mercedes parts were for these models b4. (its my first luxury car)

wow! looking great. I've been considering new 18" wheels for my car and those double 5spoke AMG's look awesome. I'd also be interested in knowing where you got them...along with the offset. That 2" drop looks nice too, i hope you don't get rub with that! Let us know when you get to drive that baby.

Thank you all but please don't judge it yet as I have alot more to come. As for the wheels well they were already on the car when I bought it in August. I believe that they are the same wheels all over ebay just that MB centercaps were installed, perfect match. Like $400-$600 a set as almost everybody think they are actual 2 piece rims (there not,but very sexy they are).

It needs a wash, it been sitting for some weeks now through snow, rain, and ugly winds. Surprised to see no bird crap yet. I haven't bought shocks yet (stocks will have to do), I'm trying to sell one of my cars and with that money I'll get shocks and hopefully more mods, I'm feeling like getting koni sports

Well here is a pic of the car after the springs have settled a bit, still no alignment as I'm afraid the tires will rub again. For the second pic it is of the bass port holes I added to my rear shelf, now its hard to see through the tinted window and cloudy sky but try to make it out that when the headrest are recessed the ports are hidden.

that's exactly where i was planning on putting ports too! what did you use to cut the metal and the shelf, dremel for both?
so 9.5 wide rims don't rub? I thought the widest we could do was 8.5, or even 8... or is that just sedans?

That's a really good idea with the port holes, but it may jar something loose the way those head-rests tend to slam into place when you switch um back.

Makahveli, I really like where you've placed the ported holes under the headrest. Really good idea! You never let me down with your ideas and what you do with your car. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Do you have any more pictures that I can see and how you did it? This is something I'd like to look into.

nice ride. euros.
why? your car just needs amber corners, euro side markers and (IIRC) the towing eye bumper cover to be "complete."
id call dibs on your wheels but i have too many expensive hobbies to spend money on my car.
