Newb* I need info...
Hello everyone! Im new to this forum and needing some infomation. I have a 89' 300E and i seen a nice bodykit that i really like but cant seem to find it anywhere. I am looking for a WALD bodykit for my 89' if anyone knows where i can find it please let me know Thanks!

hey man. Good luck finding an authentic one. Last I heard, they are no longer sold in the US and Canada. I heard that they're for sale in Japan, but I heard that a while ago so it may no longer be true.
I have heard many bad things about replica body kits- you usually end up spending all of the money you saved over the real deal on modifying the replicas to fit. And even then, replicas are usually made out of fiberglass... so one scrape on a sidewalk/curb/etc will crack it. Here is a site that has plastic bodykits that look very similar to AMG kits. The plastic is more flexible and thus less proned to cracking. The drawback being that plastic is very difficult to repair if it does break:

Give your E Class a more aggressive stance with our aerodynamic kits. Available for all models from 1986 on. Kit is made of flexible reinforced plastic (FRP).
Good way of lieing to ppl
Fiberglass aint flexible unless you lay up only one or two plys (then It'll break soon). & that kit aint worth more than $800 MAX cus I've bought one for a prev. car I had.

AS designs... what kinda body kits? Well i went to the picture post and seen Imperials car and i loved that kit.. Thats the only kit that i seen that makes and 89' look more like a 95 and up lol.
