I have heard many bad things about replica body kits- you usually end up spending all of the money you saved over the real deal on modifying the replicas to fit. And even then, replicas are usually made out of fiberglass... so one scrape on a sidewalk/curb/etc will crack it. Here is a site that has plastic bodykits that look very similar to AMG kits. The plastic is more flexible and thus less proned to cracking. The drawback being that plastic is very difficult to repair if it does break:

Good way of lieing to ppl
Fiberglass aint flexible unless you lay up only one or two plys (then It'll break soon). & that kit aint worth more than $800 MAX cus I've bought one for a prev. car I had.fiberglass reinforced plastic. (FRP)
