My headliner is sagging eveywhere, is there a way to fix this? The vinyl on my b-pillars is sagging as well.

ur f'd. its not jsut that its falling down, its that the foam between the headliner and the roof has disenegrated. for my SL, it would have cost like 375, and for 100 bucks more i got susde . BUT im shure it will cost around 500 for a good headliner job on our 124's.

I don't want to drive around with the Benz looking like someone's 72 Monte Carlo with the headliner sagging down.

YNVDIZW124 - do you have or know where I can find some DIY instructions for this job?

I don't think there are any but i can help you along the way..It's not that hard..well atleast to me but it does take some time to get everything done....it's a process...

1. remove roof handles - pull back the rubber to access the screws
2. remove A pillars - pull back windlace and remove clips holding it. Same on other side.
3. remove windlace from all doors - pull it back just to get access to what you need.
4. remove front roof panel - open sunroof, unscrew metal strip, remove rear view mirror by pulling it hard to one side, disconnect and remove the sunroof controls, and remove visors. It should come out after that.
5. remove B pillars - move seat all the way foward and remove two screws on the bottom plastic. Unbolt seat belt and pop off the b pillar from the top.
Same on other side.
6. remove rear courtesy light - use a flat screw driver and pop it off
7. remove b pillars - you don't need to remove the seat belt just move them to give u access to headliner
8. on the edge of the rear window where the headliner is tucked in use some needle nose pliers and be really careful and pull out the headliner...also a flat screw driver can work...start form one end to the other...
9. the hard part is removing it from where is tucked in by the sun roof. it's held by some cardboard strips on each side
10. try to be careful and remove the metal
11. Im trying to remember how i did all this on my other 300e i used to have but i ran out of ideas...if you are good at DIY work then it shouldn't be that hard to remove this...

Remember when something is stuck or is not moving, there is always a clip so don't pull or yank anything out...
