Where can I Find....
Hey guys, whats up?
I just noticed that triangular reflector that some of you may have on your
w124's. I think that they are pretty cool and handy. Where can I get my hands on one?
Thanks

Warning Triangle - 140-590-0212
Clips - 140-890-00-14
Try Rusty for both. Your trunk will have the mounting sockets hidden behind the felt covering. You'll need to remove it first and cut holes to allow for the clips. 2Phast has a tutorial on his website.

They are pretty rare to come across by these days - I got lucky and got it from a friend along with the brackets. It was a pain in the *** cutting the carpet though.
Here's Mine.

Mercedes dealers said that they carried the triangle reflector for the trunk for $50.00 and also said that the reflector fit many cars/models....is that true? I dont want to buy one that was cheaply made after the original.

Is this the right triangle?

Chris, how does the triangle work? Are you supposed to open your trunk when you need to use it or do you take the triangles out and stand them on the ground like flares? Is it only one triangle?
Thanks to anyone who can respond....

That's not the right triangle.
The one in the ebay link folds down and fits in that little box you see.
The EURO triangle is one piece besides the leg that moves so it can stand on the floor.
As for how the triangle works. It acts as any other warning signal. It comes out easy and you only have to move one thing to get it going and standing up.

check it out, I think it's the one. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...7380%26fvi%3D1 but it doesn't look like it'll come with the mounting bracket...
