brabus muffler
Any ones opinion on a considered purchase of a used in excellent condidtion brabus Muffler dual for my 1989 300E??? my mechanic wants $100. He said any pipe bending muffler shop to toss it on..

Excellent condition original Brabus muffler for $100? That sounds like a very solid deal. The only thing I question is why doesn't he intall it?

pipe bender
He says he needs a pipe bender which they do not have....He has two of them he took off his MB before he sold it...I can only use one ...wonder what a shop would charge to bend what is needed?

Can't be that much. Call up a reputable shop and get a quote. But $100 for the muffler sounds great.

muffler shop should probably charge anywhere between $80.00 and $200.00 to install it. Depends on where you go.

My remus cost me $100 to be installed. and they had to bend custom pipe and make custom hangers

my mistake its a Remus
Sorry my mistake I thought it was a brabus but it is a Remus muffler...Nice looking one I must admit and yes He will sell it to me for $100. Any new thoughts?

I am going to take it and will see him on fri...I will keep you posted on the other one..Keep in mind you will have to shine it up since it is used...What do they sell for new...sounds like a good deal to me..
