I wouldn't say 80's, more like late 90's early 2000's

You know what I kinda like that grill. It's actually very nice looking.

I hate the all black one with the chrome star on it, yuck.

W124's
That grill has the potential to look nice on a car if done right. Especially the black one. the hood star would have to be completely removed, patched up, painted etc if you know what I mean so it looks clean. Cause that grill already looks busy so you dont want anything else to add to it.

eh, I'm gonna stick with my 80's statement. It's a copy of the old 80's SEC models:

Dave I believe the web site for the upgrade is at www.slaccessories.com

P.S. Dave do you see the difference in the SEC look and the updated grille look?

I like the new gill that you found...I think the dated/80's look the one that bigpete may be thinking of is this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...73441857QQrdZ1

this one is definitely alot better than the one on this^ link (the one i provided)

I just *** hate that...they advertize "Fits 300E 400E" but that does not turn out to be the case...false advertisement?

Wel, they see it as so many people have already converted already. and when the thought of w124 comes to mind 300e is more familiar and responding than e320- when I see that I assume its a "96 and up model. I wonder if any local scrap yards have an upgraded hood I can snag, I screwed my hood up and some how got glue on it and this here is my motivation point.
