MB 300E | BMW M Coupe
Brakes...
Just curious to see what you guys have....Wondering if any of you guys have any other brake setup rather than the stock setup. If so, do you guys have a write-up?

What can I do to better my braking power? I want to stop a little quicker.

Anyways, I've seen a Porsche brake set up on a W124, but it was on a 500E. it looked sick.

Are there any ceramic pads out there for the W124 or 300E to be more specific? I'm tired of the OEM brake pads. Way tooo dusty.

Im running akebono ceramic pro pads with balo discs up front. More than enough stopping power, great pedal feel. To get better braking, get a stiffer suspension and wider tires. With the ceramic pads, my rims are still clean after 1500 miles on them, I love not having to worry about brake dust.

i have my 94 SL500 brakes for sale. i need to get rid of them fast. so any body want them let me know. and they should bolt right on.

buymbparts or europeanautomotive but I think that mbshop should also have them.

When I put them in, I had to make the tabs on the end fit with a dremel but other than that, they are fine, a little thinner than the rotor so it will cause uneven wear in the long run but shouldnt be a problem i dont think. It stops the car, havent heard a single skeeeeeek.
