300D Turbo blue smoke at idle problem
Hi, the benz is an '87. It smokes blue at idle and as you increase the throttle the blue smoke reduces somewhat.
Car runs with good power: injectors all tested good, injection pump newly rebuilt, compression readings at 360-380psi all cylinders which is good, cylinder head rebuilt including valve guide seals and lifters replaced.
Any input would help, thanks in advance, Sabi

all regular maintenance done.
nobody has this problem???
Another thing I've noticed is that the engine does not smooth out till after 1000 rpm.
I've seen the same car/engine smooth out right after touching the throttle.
any ideas appreciated, thanks
