Fifth Gears test on W124/Old Mercedes Built Quality

So, I told some of you forum members I would upload this for you all to see. I finally found time and ripped the scenes from each episode and uploaded it to YouTube for all of your viewing pleasures. lol

A little info...

"Mercedes got the bends"

Vicki Butler-Henderson (From Fifth Gear) puts an old cliché to an extreme test. Are old Mercedes really the best cars ever built? Using a baseball bat, an accident, a four foot deep flood and a monster truck, she dishes out some serious punishment to a poor old Merc. Will it still work when she's finished with it? You may be surprised!

I've always said...They built this car in 1986?!! The w124 was always ahead of it's time and mine still runs like a champ. The other day i was next to a 1998 honda accord and the valves where clicking and my 20 year old engine was still smooth..

She said sorry a bunch of times because she feels the w124 love!!

I was like WTF when it turned on after 3 feet of water and gettin runned over by that big *** truck..Try that with a honda..I know i'm never going back on the w124!!

i take it a 'immoblizer/immobiliser' is a alternator or distro cap ?
