UPDATE Rear brake lock up - electrical
Mechanic tells me the brakes/master cylinder are okay. Says the codes that came up indicated the control unit was out of whack. He said he cleared the codes and it runs okay now.
Says the car was in "Limp home mode" which was causing the car to basically shut down in mid operation.
He says if it happens again the control unit will have to be replaced - over $1,000 for the part.
Anyone had any experience with this?

No, sorry...havent had the problem (knock on wood). Just thought I'd leave you an answer so you know some of us has actually read your thread. I hate it when no one has an answer or solution to your problem. I do appreciate when people atleast tell me "no" so I know that people atleast care about the problem I may be having.
