I couldn't catch this guy's times, but I'm hoping that when my dad brings the 500e we will show him how much LOL AMG really means.

I did okay for my first time autocrossing, my lowest was a 49s and change. The guy with an m5 consistently ran 46ish so I don't feel bad, and he wasnt NGS either! (Novice G Stock)
My friend's GTI ran about 44ish and his father's E320 CDI ran about 48ish, but he had ESP on and had only had the car for about 16hr prior to the event, so he was still learning it. Needless to say, after his final run in the rain with ESP off, he fell madly in love with the E320 CDI. I had a similar epiphany with Bucky, I've come to respect it much more now. But that also means I really want to get moving on those suspension updates so I can kick some *** at the next event
I'll be posting pictures and videos shortly, I'm too beat today to tackle that project

Good going at the track. Look at the cars you're up against. Your car is probably 5 - 700 lbs.heavier than the E36's and Suub's etc. - AND you don't have AWD, either! Good driving
Several of us had our 500E's out on the track in Portland - held the course nicely, but the Honda Accord out there was sliding into the gravel on every corner.
A testament to our W124's - effortless performers and suprisingly capable.

Yeah, I had a blast for my first time, and I think I did okay. My friend said that either the 300ce is far better than everyone says or I'm a driving prodigy, or a mix of both. I'd like to say its a mix of both
How do the 500e's do? I want my dad to head up with me for the next one and he's really excited to bring it out. I think with all the power it has it should be quite good, not to mention the AMG/Porsche suspension treatment it has.
Yeah, I was pretty floored by how well the car held the road with a total noobie like me behind the wheel :P A lot of the people I ran with were quite surprised too. I got made fun of before I got out there, but once I broke from Out of Courses to 58s to 55s to around 49-51 consistent I got a lot of respect from the drivers I talked with, even a WRX owner and a MX-5 owner.
What should I get first for the next meet? Sportline Front Swaybar+500e Rear or H&R Sports + Bilstein Sports? I don't have the funds to do both at the same time yet..

Sounds like you've got the bug, haha!
I am by no means a racer and my car is completely, low-mileage (81,000 km), stock. It should be performing as designed. That is to say, great traction in corners, but considerable body roll on tight corners. The car has a wider track and lower stance than regular V8 W124 (E420), and wheel spin is rigidly controlled by ASR.
You should go to 500ecstasy.com and talk to Omegabenz or Need2speed about suspension upgrades. Many of the things they've done would apply to your car.
Need2speed races his 500E with mostly suspension upgrades and Omegabenz has extensive knowledge of MB suspensions and I believe he sells products through RDMtek - a company that engineers and produces strut tower braces, camber kits and other parts.
Omega is very thorough and can help you prioritize your wishlist.
Tell them "T-500" suggested you contact them.

I have now priced out the w124 Limo Front Swaybar and 500e Rear Swaybar and bushings through Rusty @ BuyMBparts and Phil @ Partsshop and I think I can safely say that I will be doing this new setup next, hopefully in time for the July 19th meet! More to follow funds permitting. I am so excited I can barely contain myself!
