Exclamation Calling Chrisdpham!

Dpham, Whats up bro!

I have a Q for you that I need promptly answered:

When you bought the 94-95 headlights for your pre-facelift 124, were they just plug and play application or did you need something else for them? (harness or such?)

I would greatly appreciate your help!

-Henry

EDIT: I felt the need to start a whole new thread versus highjacking someone else's joint to further assist our w124 brothers for future post-facelift headlight installation.

lol. What's going on man!

There is only one thing preventing the EURO's from being a plug and play set up. You'll need to purchase a set of 6-Pin headlight connecters. On the US W124 headlights they used 4-pin's. So you'll just have to swap those out. I have the wiring diagram which I'll upload later when I get home from work. Also, the stock 9004 light bulbs are replaced by H4's. The fog lights retain the H3's.

aaaah, you really are a forum ****, you're so fast

LOL thanks bro!

so, one more question:

is switching the connectors to 6 pin cakework, or will I cause my car's electronics to self destruct?

is it easy to switch? is there a certain way of doing this?

lol. I'm at work with nothing to do so I'm on the forums!

Switching out the connectors into the 6-Pin to the 4-Pin is one of the easiest task in regards to the Euro headlight mod.

All you do is remove the wires from the connecter plugs and place them into the new 6 pin. Pretty simple! You'll realize it when I upload the example later.

Chris! I see your list of mods includes some audio mods, and this is now a ask chris for help thread so I have a maaajor question.. or two.. maybe more? First, did your car have that weird rectangular amp clipped below the rear deck with some strange cables going into it? I have this stuff in my becker audio headunit thread.. If you like, could you give it a read? I will take pictures today to upload of the amp thingy and the STRANGE cables it uses. Please reply there so this thread stays for shadow.. And sorry for the thread jack shadow :C

You gotta put some mofokin sugar in the cool-aid, if not that **** aint tasting right.

I have AC in my benz but I never use them. I'm the windows down type of guy - especially when blasting the system. No but really ... I don't use it because of the head gasket ... no need to make the car run hotter than it already is.

I'd have to see pictures of your current set up right now. All I know with my set up right now is that my buddy replaced everything and I'm not longer utilizing the stock AMP setup and etc.
