After that, I'm just waiting for my grab-bag from Chris - outside temp sensor, front bumper trim, oil pressure sender, etc. None of it too terribly exciting (for anyone but me)
I hope to get some red/smoke tails soon and some bilstein's to go with the Vogtlands that are still collecting dust next to my desk.
Money, where are you and how come you never call?

Well, I just got the front cover for my engine and the damper for the acc belt tensioner. The cover snapped on, so it's already installed. The damper is going to take removing a few things to get at it, so I haven't done that yet. I can't stand the way the old one rattles around, so it will probably be done soon.

Lookey what I found in the junkyard (sorry chris, boston's out of your reach it seems..) for my steering wheel.

Again, doesn't look as nice with camera phone, but I love it! (I need a damn camera!)
Whole thing

Hey, I've thought about some kind of mod like that myself. That plastic cover splits right at the line that goes across the middle. So, if you stick something on there, when the airbag explodes out of there (they actually do explode, by the way) that thing is going to become unstuck and become a MB missile. It could take a minor accident and give you a major injury. It's not a matter of how much it sticks out (until it's sticking out of your head I guess)
And, BTW - yes I always ride with my seat belt on. I was a fireman in the past and saw way too many times what happens when you get in a wreck with no seatbelt. That's not going to be me.
