All you have to do is buy the eyebrows and voila - no gap.

You'll still have the gap because the eye brows dont fill in the empty space...

yeah, I was talking about those too.

Those headlights look like they are for the 89-93 model W124.

No, I can't, but thank goodness society now has Google. That's interesting, the Haas Effect, didn't know about that!

For everyone's info, I already have the eyebrows and, yes, they do help in covering up that inside gap (I finally figured out what Gorbetteam was talking about - I thought he was referring to the gaps around the HID unit, and I'm thinking, what gap?) I'm just waiting for my Brilliant Siver & clearcoat to come from Tower Paints.

The thing is the seller advertised the headlight units as for 88-93. In reality they make only one kind, which is for a 94-95. Hence the gap when you install it into a 88-93.

I dont understand why they wouldn't make the crystal clear headlights for our cars (86-93), they make mine without the 94-95 gaps...

Still, you car looks amazing!

When I purchased my lights, there were none available for the early model W124's, so I was stuck with the facelift headlights. Although it bothers some, it really does not bother me that much.

I'm like 2phast, the gap is there, but it doesn't really bother me that much either. I'll experiment with the eyebrows and see how that works out. Plan B could be a 94-95 hood but that's at least $500, I think, + painting, and I just had the ol'hood painted. I wasn't aware of this gap as I was still working on the new headlights while it was at the paint shop.
