MBZ OEM Spares Price Rip-Off

Called MBZ Dealer today for a price on a sensor switch for the cooling tank on my W124 - price $94.00.

Checked price with MB Spares Canberra(Australia) who can supply the same item for $41.00.

I'm for using them in the future because Iam sick of paying big bucks because of an MBZ brand package.

These guys are not affiliated with MBZ but offer a tremendous range of oem parts in other than MBZ branded packages. They charged $250 for a W124 water pump - hate to think what a dealer charges.

Check em out (www.mbspares.com.au) they ship anywhere world wide and the current exchange rate is real good.

I hear you, the stealership will run your pockets dry my friend.

you're better off seeking cheaper alternatives...I understand some people try to keep everything OEM (maintains value) but I plan on keeping the old gurl forever!

So, autozone it is for moi!
