dash lighting ?
Well I installed my vrx925vd(clarion 7"touch screen radio)and well, it just doesnt look as good as it did in my honda.I think its from the lack of color from my instrument lighting.Has anyone changed the color of the gauge lights and climate lighting

Some have retrofitted new bulbs others have converted to LEDs. But yes, both have been done. 190 Revolution might be a good place to do some research - Link.

This looks so good ... Someone do this mod and then do a write up so we can all do it as well. All the bulbs in my car are LEDs. It would be nice to have all the switches white as well.

Those look so nice. I will do that to my car asap, prolly white LEDs.... Do you lose the fade control when you go LED? As nice and bright as that is, I still like shutting down the lights at night every so often for helping sight.
No, LEDs can have voltage scaled up until a certain point. Lowering the voltage through the rheostat will have no ill-effect, though raising it beyond their tolerance will shorten their life significantly. Get the right type of LED bulb for the voltage and you should not run into any problems
