should look sweet bro. i was thinking of buying some universal flares and molding them when my car was in the shop but every brand i found seemed like crap, so i never did it. im interested to see how its going to turn out. my wheels are wide with low offsets so id like to see what kind of clearence it gives. im tuned in. good game.

Ok, so you all asked for Before and After shots.

Here are the Before shots

I will repeat these shots once the fenders have been mounted....

I hope you guys (and myself) aren't disappointed after all this work

if you mean making the flares the same color as the lower cladding rather than the color of the car, i think that would look bad... worse than putting on plain chrome

Yeah, dont match with the cladding. If anything match with the actual color of the body of your car. Im pretty sure the cladding is not goign to look good blended with the fender flares.

Hey folks,

Ran into some technical difficulties, going to have to wait till mid-week for the results! The fenders look really good when mocked up....I'll have to tweak the fitment slightly

Stay tuned...

Oh and another project is in the works.....

A couple of things:

I handled the fenders after 4 hrs of drying, apparently not enough time....need to re-spray 'em.

The flares don't fit all that flush yet so I need to custom fit (bend lol) them so the are flush

I am packing up my life and moving from Calgary to Vancouver for Nov 1 nd have too much to do on that front.

Rest assured, mod-freaks, I WILL make Enzo wider. Patience

I was going to ask, for modds sake, if you had pre-bend them to fit your car properly since I saw the pix of before and afters and they both looked the same...but I didnt wanna make an a$$ out of myself.

Can't wait to see it finished though.

Bad news, folks. The fender flare idea is a no go. They just don't fit properly and the only way to attach them so that the whole flare is flush to the body is by adhesive on the fender. It also does not give the look I was after, so instead, I have elected to do a custom wide-body kit. Stay tuned mawfuggas!!!

Be advised, this is no 24hr mod....I don't mean to ruin my rep on here as "almost fastest completed mod" modder

ZorroAMG - I'll be back.....

Zorro you're like one of those boogers you just can't quite get - you know the ones that are deep within the confines of your nose? While extraordinarily satisfying to pick, one can never really get the full satisfacion of knowing it has been grasped!

Once again the Elusive booger escapes! Ugh!

oh yea, and HTFU!

whoa there hahaa

any pix of the fitment prior to giving up? seemed like an awesome idea. i saw a w124 in the parking lot not long ago with the chrome fenders and i noticed the fitment was close to perfect. weird.
