just an FYI, when I had Tower Paint match my paint code and put some in a paint bomb for my filler strips, the color code 702 translated as smoke metallic silver. I had no idea my tan-sand-beige-whatever color was really something as shnazzy as SMOKE SILVER. Now that I know the name, maybe the color isnt so bad....
That blue would look insane. A real eye catcher I think. Who is it in these forums that rolls a blue W124? I decided on my headlights after looking at his sweet ride

That lime green is really growing on me. Whaddaya say, purple flames or tear graphics down the sides? And spinners. and hydraulics. And a ricer resonator pipe. OH! and a big wing on the back!

Thanks again, YNV, personally, I like it. Like Shadowgriffen said, it is a little too much on the red side. Not your doing, but because of my bad sample. Didnt look that reddish on the cabrio. I'll keep hunting, for a shade, what, darker? or more towards the oranges? Last thing I want is for it to look like a giant Hyundai or something. Just looking for a classy newer color, to update the look.

Im a huge fan of the Black, but trying for something unique, although I would like to stay with a mercedes color, but one from recent years. Actually that lightening blue keeps coming back into my mind. Im trying to remember, who is it that has the deep blue W124 on this board? Id like to get another look at his color.

man, I think I know who you're talking about... but I'm terrible at remembering names. I think his sig has a blue w124 in it with a cardomain logo. It also has a pic of a newer black american car like a T-bird or something like that. I don't remember if I've seen him at MBworld or at benzworld. I think his name on the board has "mike" in it somewhere preceeded by (or followed by, I can't remember) a series of numbers. Man, this is bugging me.
I did a member search for everyone on this board with "mike" at the beginning of it and I didn't see anything that rang a bell. So maybe I'm way off. Does anybody else remember?
