My one true W124 gripe!

NO CUPHOLDERS. What is a man supposed to do with that thirst-quenching 72 oz'r???

Is there such a thing as an aftermarket cupholder that doesn't look like it was extracted from a Hugo?

Are they OEM? Could you take a pic and either post it or e-mail it to me so I know what to look for? Please, let me know.

TIA.

No cup holders? It's against the law to drink coffee.Eat,Talk on your cell phone On the Autobahn. I'll take the exhilaration of 130 mph to keep me awake instead of caffeine.

Yeah, it's a difference between US and German culture. When germans drive, they drive. When americans drive, they turn up the music, fire up DVD's and playstations, drink coffee and soda, talk on cell phones, do makeup etc. We just aren't satisfied with concentrating one thing at a time! ha ha

I had a very very uncomfortable experience because of the lack of cupholders in my car one time. I decided to be nice and buy coffee for two of my coworkers one morning on my way in. I was stupid and didn't ask for a cup holder.

So I put two drinks between my legs and held the other one in my hand. The coffee that was closest to my twig and berries was getting a little hot, so I tried to move it while I was at a stop light. I squeezed it a little too hard and the lid popped off, spilling coffee all over my... you get the idea. The problem was that I was holding another coffee between my legs and nother in my hand, I had my seatbelt on, and the light turned green. So I basically had to sit there and take it.

Anyway, I feel you man. Literally!

Awesome...thanks for the tip(s). Maybe, before it's all over I will hog some out of SST and mirror polish them to better match the interior.
