There is a link to the instructions somewhere around here...I think Matt was the one who linked it.

From what I've heard its not a novice taks for sure, but you dont have to be a rocket scientist either...I'll see if I can find you the link.

The only instructions I can find are how to inspect them. From the diagrams it looks like unbolt/bolt/done. I don't have the torque specs.

I think the front flexies are the ones that give trouble.Looks as though one might have to drop the cross brace to get decent room to work.

You have to have the strenght of an ox and prepare for some striped nuts/bolts!

Yesterday i toke the tranny of my w201 out for selling and it was a b!tch, the bolts of the flex discs were removed with a hamer and sizel, , and i only managed to remove the front flex disc with the tranny on the floor and had to grind one of the bolts!!!!!

taken lots of these out, I would say to mark both sides of the drive shaft so when they separate you can put it back properly. All you need is a proper set of tools and a breaker bar. The driveshaft also splices into the middle hole of the flex disc.

GOOD LUCK, THIS ONE IS ALMOST FUN

You don't normally need to drop or separate the driveshaft or cross brace.
Undo all 6 bolts pry the drive shaft back with a large screwdriver or prybar and the flex disk can be removed and replaced. Make sure you put the new one in the right way round.
