Rim Question

I was thinking of getting new rims for my '87 W124 and am having a hard time finding a good fit. I was thinking of taking rims from a 2004 Audi A4 or S4 though and just want to see if they would go. They're 17" and the offset is 35. Would these work on my 260?

if it was made for the audi, it will not fit. the audi has a smaller hub.

Offset is correct but I doubt the lug distance, it should be PCD 112

What if the offset is the same and so is the bolt pattern? They say they're 5x112, what would stop them from fitting?

audi wheels have a smaller center bore and lug bolts are 14mm, also most audi wheels have higher offsets..

The bore is smaller

I tried and learnrd the hard way. The center bore is too small. You can bore them out it's about 1/4 inch difference. I had to do that for my 528i so I could put older m5 rims on it. It is a tedious task if your not a machinist.
