ANTENNA Question

I am installing an after market stereo (Sony). Now, a couple of questions about the antenna install.

I've got everything hooked up (working fine)except the antenna. So how do I connect the antenna wire to have it working with the manual up/down switch ?? Do I just connect blue wire from the deck to the blue wire from the car?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

use the antenna trigger wire fromt he old radio and connect to the sony headunit's antenna wire or remote wire should be blue or blue wiht white stripe. Antenna button should still function as far as I know as the factory radio only had one wire for antenna trigger.

doesn;t hurt to try it.

Not 100% sure what the antenna wire color on the car is.

The antenna harness (plug) from the car has a blue wire, brown, and a green. And it's attached to this other plug that went on the old radio.
So now I just need to know is, the blue wire from the radio connects to which wire on the car antenna harness??
Thanks again for any suggestions.

doesnt the manual for the head unit tell you the color of the antennae wire? just touch it to the once you suspect it being and see if the antennae works.
