Radio Problem?
On my '95 E320 SE, when I turn on the radio the antenna raises and then the radio dispalys "Phone", but will not respond to any of the buttons. The phone has been removed. Is the radio bad, or am I missing some magic switch somewhere?
I found that the radio works for a while when the car is cold, then gradually starts cutting out and switching to the non-existent phone. Does anyone know what is used to switch between phone and radio?

Update
I posted this a while ago and got no response, which tells me that either no one here has experienced this issue, or no one knows the cause. Today I resolved this problem. I went to the beckerelectronics.com website (don't go there if your virus protection is not up to date, there is a downloader virus in a popup for Viagra ) and looked at the pinout for the DIN-ISO plug. Terminal 3 on block A (bottom block, second pin from the left) is called "Phone Mute". I waited until the radio warmed up and displayed "Phone", then I cut this wire. It is a blue/white wire. There is the same color wire on terminal 6 for the illumination so beware. The radio instantly worked! To be sure this was the fix I touched the wires together agian and ever time the radio stopped and displayed "Phone". I just taped off the wires and it's all good! Thanks to Kestas for giving me the idea how to remove the radio. I bought the keys on Ebay but they won't be here for a while. BTW, found this website for radio wiring diagrams and other interesting stuff:
