Cool Fitting Brabus 18" staggered wheels on CE, opinions?

Hey guys, I have a set of 18x8.5 ET32 & 18x9.5 ET35 Brabus Monoblock 6 replicas currently fitted on my SLK, I would like to put these on my silver 320CE along with a lowered suspension setup..... any suggestions on which tires to use? Im pretty sure that I can get away with running a 225/40 tire up front... will a 245/35 work in the back with fender rolling & all that??

I think these wheels can look very good on my CE along with some other cosmetic mods... here are some pics of them fitted on my SLK:

You're not going to be able to clear those wheels in the rear. Also, That's really pushing it for the front especially with rolling the fenders and etc

I recall reading about a member with a red W124 CE running black Brabus 18x8.5 wheels... with 225/40 up front & he claimed no rubbing... what is the norm. for the front setup?? the rear ill figure it out... maybe ill can get out with running something really aggressive... like a 235/40 tire in the rear instead of the 245/35 on the 9.5" wheel...

The fronts will be extremely close, but if you roll the fenders and maybe get some AMG fender spacers, you could do it. The rears... if I were a betting man, I would say that it's not going to work.

I have 245/40 on 8.5" x 17" amg rears & I don't have any issues at all - there definitely isn't any extra room though.... I think the extra inch each way may just be too much for the wheel wells to handle.

I also think that the ride would suffer significantly.

Please try & post pictures - I'd love to see what it looks like.

You should be fine up front but the rears may cause you trouble.

I'd be all over those for a second set of Hammer's if they weren't chrome.

Notice the stretch on the tires (or is that "poke"?) and the negative camber just to get them to fit. Looks great, drives for ****.

Sorry to be so late replying to this, my terra lowering springs lowered my car about 2 inches all around. But thats the cool part about our cars. coil spring spacers can be trimmed to stack spring pads on top of one another. By the time I felt good about the front again I had stack bump 4 and 2 pads on top of each other. But I really don't know how you would find these springs as I bought these on ebay.
