Window up/down using key

I can only close all my windows and roof with the key through the trunk and sometimes the passenger door. And sometimes when it feels like it, it'll open everything with the key. Any way to fix this easily? a DIY?

I think you have to first roll them all the way up by turning the key one way then you can roll them down by turning the key the other way.
Let us know if that does the trick.

Welp.. After a few tries the driver's side lock doesn't do it at all . The passenger and trunk lock do roll em' down. The trunk and passenger lock do roll em' up but only if it feels like it lol. SHE HAS A MIND OF HER OWN! or maybe something messed up. If there is any way to fix that I hope it's easy Possibly a DIY.

Funny enough... my car did the same thing... I changed ALL fuses in the car and now it works everytime... also, if one of your windows or sunroof doesnt close all the way (or the system senses ones not closed fully) the key won't work.

AFAIK, the windows and sunroof will only all roll down if you've already started rolling them up. This is just a saftey feature for when you start to roll up the windows like that and a stupid kid puts his hand through the crack, or something. This is at least true on my '92.

As for why your's doesn't work on the driver's side, I'm not sure, but there may be a wire or something that's loose/broken/grounded/whatever.

hmmm, would I need to start rolling all the windows up? or just one in order for the feature to work?
