so now im on a quest to find 500E parts or identical for my 400E
(springs etc.)
can anybody give me a tip as to where i could find a place to get these parts, U.S. please
The Sportline E420/400E had the same suspension/swaybar kit as the 500.

the reason it is lower is it has a Porsche "tuned" suspension system exclusive for the 5 so it does ride lower
what im trying to do is find someone who sells replacement not salvage 500E parts so i can carry them over to my 4E

The rear, however, is not bolt-on. You have to cut into the existing sheet metal, cut out some welds, and weld the modified 500e panels in. The rear fenders are not separate pieces like the fronts are. Most people who have looked into doing this conversion usually just end up selling their car and buying a 500. Believe it or not, it's probably much much cheaper to buy a new one.
Obviously I don't have any personal experience with this. This is just what I've heard when this topic has come up in the past.
