Euro Corner Lenses
Hey guys,
I've searched the forums, but couldn't find the answer. I would like to purchase some euro corner lenses for my 300ce, but have no idea where to look. I don't speak german, so german ebay might be tough.
I stole this pic from Chrisdpham's suspension thread. hopefully that's not a problem. I just think those deep amber corner lenses look so good with euro headlights...

1990. I have my stock ones in the garage, which look similar to those in the pic above. But they aren't really the same color. Maybe it's just the pic, but my stock ones are more orange, while the ones above have more of a red/amber tone.

I think it's just the pic. The only different corners were on the 94-95 which were clear with an amber rear edge.
Like this (thanks Holson, it's from one of your pics):

hmm, I don't know. I have the 94-95 ones on my car. I have heard people talk about euro corners as if they're alltogether different than US spec. And I've seen pics that show corners that really do seem like a different color.
I will be very embarassed if it just turns out to be a case of "the grass is always greener", but I swear there's a difference.
EDIT: woohoo, 400 posts.

wow, Okay.
As Jeff stated - Those are E-Code corner lights on that 500E and not STOCK USDM, he would know because that's HIS car.
Anyways, E-Code corner lights are A LOT darker in orange than the stock corner lights found on W124 from 1986 to 1993.
E-code corner lights look sick on dark cars - can't wait to pick up a set soon.

I might have a set, i'll check. Actually my brother might have a set from his CE. I would also try MB Classic if you can get a part number.

Myfirstbenz, I never heard from ya. I went ahead and bought some e-code lenses from someone who came forward with an offer. I'll post pics when they're installed (after Christmas sometime).

sorry dude, my best friend who is a Marine Lt is in town. Haven't been checking in.
I am going to tint my tails this weekend. I did find some E-code turn signals. Might save em, not sure, they are my brothers I guess.

Yeah, I was asked to remove it by the owner. It's his car and I didn't ask permission to post the pic, so I just wanted to respect his request. I'm not sure what his personal reasons were, but it's up to him I guess!
