lol, HID LEDs are necessary. Pwn It would look sexy, though I find LEDs simply do not have the light penetration that halogen/xenon does, though that may be due to LEDs never having reflector/projectors.

LOL I still like the idea of your buddies hiding within the confines of your engine bay.

if you look at the audi used in the movie I robot (the same one they had as a prototype) it used a three line array of LED lights in place of headlights...I think.

Also, have a look at the new *gag* w221 s-class convertible, it features a similar set up.

I was thinking og doing LED foglights for quite sometime, I'm serious.
I'm cereal too!

There is a broad spectrum of LED bulbs in size and power output, some are very big and bright. Put these in an array, and this will be superior to halogen and HID.

Looky hereVVVVVVVVV

I just started poking around a Nissan Pathfinder board to get some help with my wife's truck. Their "picture thread" is pretty lame, but that one I remembered as soon as I saw the "buddies in your engine bay" post.

Saijin, just get euros dude. You will be happy with them. Although HID's draw some attention, I really don't think they are worth the money and hassle. Plus personally I don't like drawing attention anyway.

True... Im just so fed up with my lack of light output that I just wanna go all the way and really be able to illuminate the road. Ive heard that the euros with PIAAs/Silverstars really light up well, so I might just stick with that first...

Trust me, I tried. My wife wants a minivan so that she won't have to reach in to put the baby in the car seat. In a minivan, you can be in front of the seat when you do it.
