I've got an '88 300CE in Dark Blue and Cream Interior. Two owner car. It was really cheap but it has original everything. I think the valve guide job and head gasket was done at 90K but other than that it's all original. I need an exhaust, the OE is fried. I need shocks, struts, springs, sportline swaybars, control arm bushings, bushings all around, hoses, 17" rims, Bosch Euro headlamps, etc.

I'm also interested in tearing down an M103 and building a better one for this car. Also a transmission swap.

And any upgrade to the stereo.

I've been reading posts on lots of forums. This list here and one other seem to have all the 124 Coupes. I can't believe how many mean looking Coupes are on this list.

Everything you guys are doing to your cars is inspiring to me.

Regards,
Jason

I will put up pics. The coupe needs a claying and waxing first. It's nothing to write home about right now. I hope to invest some time and dunza into the car. It's the original model year and does show its age. Paint is still decent with hours of detail work. I read somewhere that mercedes does an extra step in the paint process where they flat the finish to ensure a glass finish look and no orange skin.
