For any of you guys that run K&N filters, do you notice any increase at all in performance over OEM? I know that when you switch to K&N you sacrifice some filtration for that extra flow. I'm going to add a second air intake tube as well.

do you have a sound clip or video of the sound of your car? if not, make one....please...or if someone else does have an aftermarket exhaust, make one...i am curious to hear how our car would sound.....and make one of you driving by and also at idle.....thanks....btw, i didnt notice that much performance. "it may be just in your head" and that statement isnt directly stated towards you, its general....

I noticed that air flowed much better and on my old car I slightly did better gas mileage but like omar said - it's all it the peoples mind that it gives them a significant amount of power.

I haven't made a sound clip yet, but I will tell you the sound is pretty unique. It doesn't sound like a MB, but I love it. It has the more of the hollow sound you hear on trucks with the straight-through exhaust. I took off the resonator too, and that helped a lot. I still need to add a high flow cat though.
I got Flowmaster though, because that was what the muffler place had in stock and I didn't want to wait any longer. As far as Magnaflow, I have no idea.
