300E engine position?
300E engine position?
I just bought a 1993 300E that had been in a very minor wreck. While looking at the engine, I noticed that it doesn't seem to be "straight" in the engine compartment (looking down on the engine, it looks like it's very slightly rotated counter-clockwise). The engine mounts look okay and I can't see anything obviously wrong.
Is this the normal position of the engine, or did something get majorly damaged in the wreck (frame??). I wanted to make sure there's nothing serious before I put a lot of work into it.
Thanks!

Apparently it is normal. My '95 E320, which actually has the same M104 engine as the '93 300E, also appears this way and the car has only had a slight rear end collision.
