How odd, I can't find the original page for the clear euro's on that site anymore. Argh. I wanted those!!! You guys think it would be a good buy? Or just stick with the original Euro's?

I'd consider the first clear euros...especially if the lens was glass, but I’m guessing its plastic. The craftsmanship on all of those aftermarket lights is most likely not so good.

Biggest problem with all of those headlights is that they don’t fit the simplicity of the w124. Our cars are beautiful, subtle, CLASSY engineering marvels...those headlights are trying too hard to be something they aren’t and don't fit the w124 character.

The original euros are still the best look.

Yeah, but the clear euros (that look like the real euros) look good IMO as well. The quality is a big question mark though...

Just what I was thinking. Another question, I doubt it but oh well better safe than sorry. Are euro's illegal here in the states?

Im not sure if it actually gets called out or not :C You could just say they are the stock 94-95 headlights and possibly get away with it. Who knows. All I know is is that the DOT are absolute **** and I need to get rid of them.

Those look way Cheap - I'd rather invest more money into E-Code 500E Hella headlights.

and FYI - No need to be scared to have non Dot approved headlights. you drive a MERCEDES. What kind of cop is going to sit on his *** and check out what kind of headlights you're sporting on your benz???

After spending entirely too much time trying to find projection style lights i thought wouldn't be too much for the car (cosmetically) I am inclined to agree with you. Besides, there is a lot of frontal area on these cars and I wouldn't trust a plastic light to hold up for long.

So, is there a prefered source for top quality euros? Bekkers has them for about $550 or so. For that price, can I assume they are top-of-the-foodchain type lights? Is there a less expensive, similar quality setup out there?

In my '95 what else do I need to change out to run the euro setup....bulbs...relays...etc.?

W124's
You pay for what you get these days. Is the price on Bekker $550 for a set? That sounds like a fair price. I would go with them - The Hella headlights are simply the best headlights you can get for our cars. Nothing looks classier than the Hellas.

You'll need the standard H4/H3 bulbs and a 6-Pin connector for the harness and you're all set to go.
