Low enough?

Hello all,
I have had my car lowered for over 6mths now on H&R springs, coupled with Bilstein Sport shocks all around.
I haven't fiddled with the bump pads at all so all should be the stock bump#3 bump pads.
Now that I'm sure the ride height has settled, I was wondering if my car would look nicer to be lowered more.. If so, which bump pad would you recommend me using?
By the way, how much difference is there between each bump pad?

Now for the pics!

Cheers,
Jeff

Cheers for the comments (more like compliments!) guys! To be honest, I would like the car to be lower (like O-Neill's!). I was wondering if it would be OK to put bump#1 all around however I was worried that the rear would sag.. Any ideas?

Also, how much difference, in terms of height, is there between, say bump#1 and bump#2 pads?

In regards to the ride quality, it is fine.. Nothing exceptional.. To say that it is just as good as stock is a lie however, it is not too bad.. The Bilstein Sports help a lot I would say.. Anyway, I'm sure the ride quality isn't one that someone couldn't live with!

i dont know about bump pad #1 all around would be good....that's speaking for my setup atleast...we have the same shocks/struts but different springs...that maybe be the reason why mine sits differently than yours...i have bump pad #4 on the front and #1's on the rear...i had #3's on the rear but was sitting too high especially with the front sitting so much lower...

Nice drop, looks way improved over stock "on stilts" look of the w124. Rubbing issues?

the rear could come down just a tad to even it out. I don't think you should lower it any more.

Cheers for the comments guys. So no one knows how much difference there is in height between each pad?

Anyway I guess I won't lower the front more, I'll just lower the rear by a bit.. Maybe 1cm?

And in regards to rubbing, no there's absolutely no rubbing. Choosing the right rims is the key

I can't remember what the difference is, but I do know we had a big discussion on this subject a few months ago. We figured out that the difference in pad height translates to roughly twice that difference in change of ride height. Just search in this forum and you should be able to find it.

I would not go any lower, you do not want to lose too much clearance. Trust me I went too low.

Yeah, should have gone 17's with thicker tires for a slight less harsh ride.

Thanks for all the comments again guys!
I love the car but was just wondering if it would look better if I lower it just a tad more.. hehe..

V9, my wheels are AMGs (duh.. just to be clear!!)..
Fronts: ET37, 7.5*17, running on 215/45/17 Pirelli PZeros (rounder side wall, elimination of rubbing)
Rears: ET37, 8.5*17, running on 235/40/17 Pirelli PZeros (reason for choice of tire is same as the above).

Hope this helps!
Cheers!
Jeff

Wow ET37?? Where did you find those? The best I can find are the rims from the 2000 CLK 430 which are et35 front and et30 rear same rim sizes.
