You guys do realize that's a W140 S-Class, right? Everyone's talking about it like it's a W124.

I stand accused - generic, clean and 95% original (headlight conversion/grill blackout). You guys are way ahead of me in the mod game.

As far as the gull wing benzo - I have never seen anything like it on a car like that - I think you either love it or hate it - I do like some of the features on the car - pretty cool - some things, I can do without.

Whether you love or hate the car - the comments were funny as hell - you gotta admit.

GREAT CAR IF YOUR A PIMP OR PLANNING TO BECOME ONE.

JUDGING FROM THE ENGINE BAY HE PUT ALL THE $$$$ INTO THE BLING AND FORGOT ABOUT THE ENGINE. IT LOOKS PRETTY TIRED. BEING FROM NEW YORK I WOULD ALSO BE WORRIED ABOUT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ON THE UNDERSIDE.

IT IS NOT WHAT I PICTURE A MERCEDES FLAG SHIP TO LOOK LIKE.
I GUESS THAT A NO!!!!NO!!!! AND NO!!!!

TAKE CARE

my bad....i'll grant that was a little rough, but come on, there's way too much bling on a trashed out ride....almost everything done to that car reduced its value....i'll bet it can't pass an emissions test, i mean, why put $3000 wheels, then $40 kuhmo's.....bet he fills up with 7-11 regular...but if I offended anyone, my sincere apology offered...

Texas is the home of the players and pimps so im sure you've seen your share of ballerific rides...right?

I don't think this one is that bad since they didn't really do anything to the paint job, just take out the wheels and the lambo doors and it's a nice car...

Don't mean to sound like a smart *** but those are stern wheels that cost about $1000 tops for 18"s and $1400 for 20"s with new kumho tires....

ok, I'm not up on all the wheels...I know the OEM AMGs are about $3k(retail) for a set, and the listing says 20"s, so if they are $1400 & the bid is at 5800, then 25% of the cars value is in the wheels.....based on the picture of the engine, I guess the other 75% is in the aftermarket TVs and video game ( i wonder if it comes with the games also )
you are correct in that Texas has it's share of pimps and players...cost of living is lower then either coast, so lots of transplants, but we have room, everyone is welcome....

haha, yeah i was looking to move to texas since the cost of a house is way lower than what it is here in so cal. I think i could be pretty pimp if i moved to texas with the money i make here since i would be able to afford nicer and better things..

Your also right they put alot of money into that car that didn't add value to it but unless you have an all OEM car we are guilty of that too..

2 points, if you please......1: salaries are a bit lower here because the employer knows that it is cheaper here (my company pays a salary premium for east/west coast employees--but not enough to offset costs) and NO state income tax either...2: i 'think' most of us tend to get the car safe/reliable/running right before the major mods....little things like euros, clear corners, and such are easy....but, don't we fix the tranny, head gasket, leaky ps pump BEFORE the dvd system....may I venture to say that we would prefer not to leave our ladies watching a video while we go looking for a tow-truck????? first we take a shower, then we put on the tux

can't speak about your income source, and most here prefer Premium fuel from Major Branded stations.....but, are you saying you need these things done and choose to have better tunes 1st? or is your car in good shape, and now your attention is the modding that makes your car more personally enjoyable? the comments were only questioning the priority of expenditures.....and most of NJ is not a ghetto, or is it?...

Actually My car needs work as do most of thew 124 on here.My system was transplanted from my other car. You were doing such a good job with the Ebay car.I was hoping you could tell me something about myself and my car.Or do you need a picture?to tell what my priority of expenditures were.

you are neither wondering if I can "tell you about yourself, or your car....you are trying to get into some childish flame war, and deflect the original issues raised. I don't have time or interest in day-care antics..as I said before, "no offense intended". sorry you are upset, wasn't intentional...but should you not understand, i can't help you with that. have a nice day anyway

Look, the only issues with the car are the lambo doors and the wheels. I don't think the pimp or crack dealer comment goes with this car anyways because atleast he didn't go with some spinners and he did re-paint the car the original color. The car has issues but i'm pretty sure even some crack dealers aren't that flashy.

It's like those geico caveman commercials you know...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVvBXBZEhkw

I'll have the roast duck with the mango salsa...LOL...

I think you should talk about yourself and what you put in your car before you comment and use the words "Most of us" or "most".

I pump with 89 octane and 91 but it depends how you drive the car to make any difference. I think i'm well qualified to know what im talking about when it comes to mercedes but that's another story...
