Installing interior rearview mirror

W124 any suggestion please??
Tried so many ways without any success.

it's actually pretty easy...there is a spring that holds it in the socket. just yank firmly down and it will surely come out...dont be afraid to pull with some force...you will see what i am talking about when it comes out...the harder part is putting in...put the two ends on the little grooves on the plate that goes between the mirror and the roof and then snap it in with a lil force...try putting one side in at a time, sometimes it is easier that way.
