Oops, sorry I think there was a CIS m104 in the early years.

I don't know about part interchangeability. Maybe Chris the parts guy knows.

103 v 104 Fuel System Compatibility

Hello,

Here in Europe the 300CE-24 had the KE Jetronic. When it became the 320, it used the later CIS system.

A few parts carry the same reference numbers.

My studies have shown:

Fuel distributor - different refs
Fuel accumulator - different refs
EHA - same refs.
Pressure regulator - havent found out yet - will look into it soon.
Fuel pumps (2) - same refs.
Injectors - different refs.

I solved a leaky EHA by recovering the EHA from the 103. Save over 200 Euro.

It's certainly worth looking into if you have the KE Jetronic.

Hope this helps.

RayH

PS: Don't be tempted by overly cheap parts. I bought 2 fuel pumps from Ebay in the USA - they both leaked. Recently invested 500 Euro in 2 proper Bosch ones. Now working well. Oh well!

If you are looking for M104 3.0-24v fuel system parts I have them all. I am converting to efi and will not need the original parts. The car ran great until the ezl fried, so the fuel system is in good shape. The car has 152k. I'll sell everything in the pic below plus the injectors that I pulled for $300 plus shipping. I also bought all new intake rubber, injector seals etc and a crank position sensor from a mb dealer, but never got around to installing them before the car died. Ill let them go for half of what I paid if you are interested. Let me know
