Which do I NEED first?
I bought some 17" wheels, and as you can see in my sig, my car is a little lowered. I am planning on buying Vogtland lowering springs and Bilstein Sport shocks/struts. From a mechanical standpoint, which do I need? I know I don't necessarily NEED Vogs now, but could I get away with them until I can afford new shocks and struts? Also, will new shocks affect my current ride height? I am afraid if I lower it with the stock suspension I may cause some damage to the tires, but I am not sure. I would appreciate some advice. Thanks

W124's
damn fgt.
Why don't you make ONE thread and put all your BS and useless threads in there so we don't have to deal with you spamming up the entire W124 section with all your topics.

OK from now on I will only answer question that partain to me, and I wont post unless it is a legitamate reason. But seriously, you know better than anyone about the setup I am going for because you have had it. Can you just tell me which one makes more sense? I am getting both either way, but I dont want a car on 17's that looks like it should be out on a rock climbing course. Thanks

i've got my car lowered w/out sport struts/shocks. Doesn't seem to be any obvious problems. My car is lowered 1.3" on H&R sport springs. How much to the vogtlands lower? I'd say you'd be fine with just springs for now.

lowering springs+stock dampers=fried dampers.
if they're worn out already (the dampers) then who cares.
if you're going to throw them out either way when you get new dampers, then who cares.
