Resonator: To remove or not to remove !!

1988 300E
Resonator: To remove or not to remove !!
So I got my magnaflow exhaust and before I get it installed !! Whats the say on the Removal of the Resonator?

The car: 1988 300E Inline 6
The exhaust: Magnaflow Dual Oval Tips

Too loud?
How loud?
Loss of Power?
Increase of power?
Increased Back Pressure?
Decreased Back Pressure
Fuel Economy?



I know Rik Johnson, removed his. But thats a 500E V8, different story so yeah !! I need to know info on our good ol' inline 6's !!

I did use the search feature, but couldnt find any threads with a final conclusion !! They are all half answered and more opinion based than information based !!

loss of power = poor (er) fuel economy.
