BTW, I could help you get your 230 running better. It could use a valve adjustment I bet. I know the motor, I have a 68 280 SEL

230 is at northwest european autoworks
Car is running well, its currently over at Northwest European Autoworks for a final carb adjustment. The more miles I drive it the better it runs, many years of in-activity are not good for any car. I'm looking forward to a compression test just to see where the general health of the engine is. Thought I'd wait a few months and a few more miles, might make it more accurate. I'll certainly take you up on the valve adjustment. It has been a really fun little car to drive. However, you mention your 280 SEL, that is the car I really want, is it by chance blue? I saw a immaculate blue, new looking paint, parked in the Fairhaven district within the last year, in front of Fairhaven Bike's new store.

We should definitely get together, maybe when the weather gets nice in the summer. Recently, club202 tried to coordinate a meet to drive out the Leavenworth but it fell through due to weather. They'll be rescheduling but seeing as how we have so many seattle-area members, we should definitely have a meet. And Zorro, if we do, you better come down. I've always wanted to see your 124 in person.

Seriously though, sounds like Seattle is going to be middle ground for a meet or would Bellingham make more sense...my best friend lives in Bellingham and I've yet to visit him there...he always comes to Van to party..
I'm down fo' whatever in the summer, especially if I can get my bumper re-sprayed....
