You basically just have to pull the panel towards yourself and the clips will come off. Just pull at it gently one section at the time.

I'll get more pictures. the sad thing is I need to place the orange corner light back for one of the clear ones that I had fell on the freeway...
I tried looking in ebay but I think the people selling it are out of stock right now.

so I have to place the original corner lights back for now.
by the way how thick are those original amg spacers?

about 1/2 inch (just measured it)

I've done the same with a clear corner... was doing about 85 mph outside of Richmond heading south and this thing just lept up past the passenger window. Four hours later when I'm filling up I take look and my turn signal is just gone.

The trick is pushing the corner in firmly and checking that its properly latched. It has a plastic arm that will lock into place. You can manipulate it with your other hand as you hold the fixture. They will stay as long as they're locked.

the title "fender spacers" is actually misleading. All they affect are the lower body cladding panels - ie where the two tone paint is. For whatever reason, wider tires tend to rub right on the front edge of those body panels where the fender arch is.

So the sheet metal fenders are not touched. This confused me when I first started hearing about them as well. Somebody posted a pic of how this looks after you install them. It actually makes the body cladding look a bit off, but it's not that noticeable.

I have an HWA for the washer but its probably been converted to a B6 accessory # and would no longer be valid. Perhaps Chris can help.

Off the top of my head the part number is...

B6-6-02-0074 I believe or it could be B6-6-02-00072...???

I will confirm this on Monday when I get into work.

Also, there are only four left in inventory (I ordered a set recently) and they are back ordered from Germany.
