What makes you sure the vibration is from a bad trans mount?

could also be the motor mounts. trans mount is easiest (and cheapest) to replace.

I had a similar problem - it could very well be both - luckily, my starmark warranty covered both my collapsed motor and tranny mounts - what a huge difference with new motor and tranny mounts - smooth and quiet!

Specifically the passenger side engine mount. It gets a lot of heat from the exhaust manifold. I have a brand new mount I will sell you cheap. I had to buy a pair but only the right side needed replacing due to the heat issue. PM me if you're interested.

You should be able to literally shake the engine back and forth with with your hands and with force when on good mounts. It's easy to see bad mounts this way. The other is that they are collapsed about an inch and you can typically see the offset around the fan to fan-shroud. Not likely a trans mount in my opinion.

When mine was bad I could pull the engine over toward the left side with both hands while it was running and the vibration went away. The rubber was not damaged visibly, but it had settled about 3/4" and was soft compared to the new mount.
