Blinker mirrors

Has anyone done these and if so how do they look? any pics, there is a set for sale and it might make the oddball w124 mirrors look better???/ I have a set of 202 mirrors but they just look too curvy for the squared off w124.....

I hope you are not talking about the E36 M3 style mirrors. If so I think they are hideous.

no not m3 mirrors I know whch lines not to cross, No they are on ebay now factory mirror covers but with turn signals, still the factory look but with turn signals..I just think it might be neat, I already know it's safer but would it look right...one of you guys must have done it already....the 202 mirrors just look to curvy, they work with a small amount of work...but just not for me

Hey Coastline, I checked out these covers you are talking about. It looks like they are just covers that will stick on to the factory cover and not replace it. The photo of the cover shows what looks like double sided tape for installation. Not quite the fit and finish we have come to appreciate with our cars.

I would still like to see someone buy them so I could see how they look.

I believe NaturalPerson has installed them on his car, and they look quite good! I am most certainly a fan.

I got them just to see, If I can add turn signals to them that would be great....I really would like to see a pic of them installed....Double stick tape would not be so bad,if they look like crap I can remove easily...They are coming from Canada so I won't see them or install before the May 12, meet but what the heck.....I just double checked and these have functional turn signals, just hope I can remove the lens to paint it properly

I would if I could justify the cost :\ If you cant remove the lens, you can always mask it and paint? That should go fairly well right?

If it's the same seller on Ebay that I got mine from, the seller is in Canada, but it actually ships from Taiwan. And , yes, VERY strong 3M tape is used to stick them on the back of the existing mirrors. Mine have worked fine for over 6 months and add, I believe, an improvement in safety.

Pics of them on my car is in this original thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w124/158236-what-do-you-guys-think-these.html
