Assessing engine fault codes
I ran a check with my code reader and determined the following faults. What do you guys know about the difficulty of dealing with these fault codes...or the parts needed to fix them? Can they be fixed on my own? Any input is appreciated.
SOCKET #3 = Fuel injection system
- Fault 11 (Air injection system, short or open circuit)
SOCKET #6 = Supplemental Restraint System
- Fault 3 (Driver airbag squib)
- Fault 8 (Voltage supply interrupted)
SOCKET #8 = Distributor Ignition
- Fault 17 (Crankshaft position sensor faulty)
