1/4 mile time

I'm getting ready to get my insurance and start driving my 94' E320. I'm just curious...what have you guys ran on the quarter mile in a stock e320? I'm just looking for an idea of what it can do.

260E , 1989 (for now)
A 1995 E320 , according to Motor Trend;
16.5 sec.@ 93.2mph.
12 years later, with normal wear and tear, it would be even less.

Nothing to write mom about.

But Benz and drag are two words that do not belong to the same sentence.

2.6 second 60ft time. You car can run faster than that; you just need to work on your launch.

I have an old Motor Trend issue & they timed a W124 E320 in 15.4 @91mph.

Lmao, thanks for the photoshop shadow.
Yes, my launch needs work, I was terrified because it was the first time i was dragging my car and I was in the lane where someone had just spun out and hit the wall. Anyway, I dont think the numbers are bad for regular 87 ocatne fuel, snow tires, and a mostly unexperienced driver, plus being 16 years on the car.. Coming out with about factory numbers? Im rather happy with the 300ce performance in that regard.
As to the point of draggin it shadow, I dont really think there is one... It was pretty fun and we couldnt get onto a road-course track so this was the next best thing. Plus, I got to drag the 500e and that was fuuuun ;D
