Cool 300e Amg????

Hi, i have a Mercedes 300E 3.0 12 V and in the speedometer has a AMG logo in it rated till 300 km/h. However, there isn´t any AMG logo in the engine or in the back of the car. Also, there isnt any 300E sign. The tacometer red line is at 6500 RPM. I`ve tested the car and it reached 240 km/h. I bought it in Germany from another user. I dont know if this is a real AMG tuned 300E. What are the real specs of the 300E 3.0 and if exists of the AMG one? I mean, horsepower, maximum speed, 0-60 mph acceleration, etc...

Can you help me?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My guess the only AMG-thing in this car is the odometer, and if the car goes 240 kmh on the speedometer, this is only since it has a calibration which does not fit the car specs. (gear ratio and wheel size)
The 300E was never an AMG especially not with 12V inline six. This is just a regular 3.0 liter engine with ~180hp. But I'm not saying it's not a very good car after all.

Good luck with the car and forget the AMG-dream!!!
