Turbotechnics Americanization
Kit was built in the early nineties in the U.K. with less then sophistiction in some areas.
Note the kit supplied wire wound silicone intake and boost hose which are far from state of the art.

First change was to replace the Fram CA3399 panel filter with a K&N 33-2003.
Best bang for the buck as $35.00 of high flow filter unleashed a whole lot of power, it's amazing !!!
You can see in the below pix the restriction that was removed from the air intake box.

Next was to replace the boost wire wound hose with a combo of 2.25" 4-ply silicone tubing and a 22.5 degree bent stainless steel 2.25" tube.
Cosmetically more attractive, and it gives a smooth boost flow to the intake plenum

This is the simplistic additional injector controller, about $350.00 from Split Second. Fully 3D mappable via software and a laptop. AFR's locked in the range of .85Lambda/12.5PSI on boost.

Wasn't able to complete the turbo intakes today. I have the 2" 4-ply silicon hose, but after laying it out I'll need some bends or hump hoses and some 2" stainless tubing

Synthetic rubber coated the distributor cover in red, added the MB Star (from a wheel center cap, along with the TurboTechnics logo.
Will post more pix when I complete the intake side
P.S.
Garfunkle... a picture is worth a thousand words...would you rather I post pixs

-Your bay is very clean will hopefully have mine like that soon after some elbow grease and a lick of paint-I definatly need to change the hoses going to the turbos can't wait to see yours done
Your new hoses will look much better
